The technical competency test for pharmacy counter staff is designed to assess the specific skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively in pharmacy branches in LATAM. Objective

Methodology
Knowledge of Medications:

Customer Service:
- Assessment of communication and customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries and complaints effectively and professionally.

- Assessment of knowledge and skills in the use of pharmacy management systems and other relevant technology.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and use digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day work.
Classification of results
The test results will be classified into four levels of technical proficiency:
- Indicates that the evaluee lacks the basic knowledge necessary to effectively perform the position in a pharmacy. This level suggests that the candidate needs extensive training in the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical industry and the specific position.
- The evaluee possesses very basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical business line, but shows clear potential for training in the short term. Although he is currently not fully prepared for the position, with the right training, he can quickly develop the necessary skills.
- Suggests that the evaluated candidate already knows the functions and has the necessary experience in the pharmaceutical business to perform autonomously. This candidate has sufficient knowledge and experience to perform his or her duties without constant supervision. A basic induction that includes familiarization with the organization's specific policies and procedures, as well as specifics of the inventory management and customer service system, will be sufficient to integrate him/her efficiently into his/her new role.
- The candidate has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical business. This candidate is highly competent and has the ability to train others. He/she has in-depth knowledge of products, regulations, inventory management techniques and best practices in customer service. An adequate on boarding to the organization will be sufficient to integrate him/her quickly, allowing him/her to bring immediate value and potentially assume leadership and training roles within the team, thus strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy staff.
